Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer specializing in Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems for its operations in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This contract role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of these critical safety and security systems, from design and installation to integration and commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and technical expertise in fire alarm systems, surveillance systems, and access control solutions, ensuring all installations adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities include leading projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion, overseeing the installation, configuration, and commissioning of fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems, and ensuring seamless integration with other building management systems (BMS) such as HVAC and lighting. The role also requires maintaining comprehensive project documentation, providing post-installation troubleshooting and support, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and serving as a key point of contact for clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire access, CCTV, and access control systems. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge of these systems, a proven track record in project management, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
