Project Engineer III

Booth & Associates, an established and industry-leading consulting engineering firm with multiple offices, is seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Project Engineer III. This vital role focuses on conducting in-depth geotechnical and structural analysis and design calculations, developing detailed construction documents, and rigorously ensuring adherence to all applicable safety, quality standards, codes, and specifications. The position requires proficiency in areas such as transmission pole foundations (direct embedment, vibratory, drilled pier), electrical substation structures and equipment foundations, substation oil-containment systems, and substation bus-work/steel framework. Responsibilities also include assisting with site grading and erosion control plans, providing design support through reports and calculations, managing project scheduling, planning, permitting, and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will proactively identify, analyze, and resolve project issues, communicate progress and solutions effectively, track project budgets and financials, and conduct site observations. This role is onsite in Summerville, SC.
