Project Engineer

Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems for its operations in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. This role is crucial for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of these critical safety and security systems within buildings, including design, installation, integration, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing the installation of fire alarm, surveillance, and access control solutions, coupled with strong project management skills and technical expertise to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects for the installation and commissioning of Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems, ensuring full operational status and compliance with regulations and client expectations.
• Integrate Fire Access, CCTV, and Access Control Systems with other Building Management Systems (BMS), such as HVAC, lighting, and energy management, for seamless building operation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system designs, as-built drawings, operation manuals, test reports, and compliance certificates.
• Provide post-installation support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure all installed systems comply with fire safety codes, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing project updates and resolving queries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Diploma Degree in Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire access systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with fire alarm systems, CCTV, surveillance systems, and access control systems (e.g., proximity card readers, biometric scanners).
• Proven project management experience in security and fire safety systems, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for on-site issue resolution and system commissioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and team members.
