Project Director

HNTB is seeking a dynamic Project Director to serve as the DelDOT Client Service Leader. This pivotal role involves cultivating and managing key client relationships, leading the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and robust financial performance. You will be the primary company contact, responsible for identifying client needs, evaluating strategic business solutions, and proactively managing project finances, budgets, schedules, and scope to meet project goals. This position requires strong leadership in setting priorities, securing commitments, and collaborating with Group Directors and Department Managers to staff projects effectively. You will also work closely with office and division leadership to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives, while supervising and mentoring project teams. A key aspect of this role is leading pursuits for mega and super mega projects, partnering with Client Service Leaders on long-term client strategies and business development opportunities, and preparing compelling proposal and presentation materials. The ideal candidate will lead client interviews and presentations within the industry.
