Professional Services Engineer

Job Overview

Growfin is seeking a skilled Professional Services Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. This critical technical role involves the development, rigorous testing, and ongoing support of custom integrations built on our proprietary in-house iPaaS platform, which is developed using Spring Boot. You will be instrumental in delivering robust, high-quality solutions while actively learning and implementing best practices in development, DevOps, and enterprise integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers (PS Engineer Level 3) to build and test custom integrations.
• Develop and execute automation tests, resolve software defects, and perform configuration updates according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide essential support for deployments during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation for developed solutions and operational processes.
• Actively learn and integrate best practices in DevOps methodologies, system monitoring, and integration workflows.
• Gain a deep understanding of how integrations interface with the core Platform and its APIs, and contribute to building extensions.
• Partner with fellow engineers to identify Platform dependencies crucial for upcoming customer solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development or a related technical field is required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and fundamental ETL processes.
• Familiarity with, or a strong aptitude to learn, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to structured SOPs and documentation standards.

Soft Skills:

• A proactive learning attitude, eager to absorb knowledge from senior engineers and ask pertinent questions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions with precision.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, essential for documentation and status updates.
