Professional Services Engineer

Join the NICE Actimize Professional Services team in Pune as a Professional Services Engineer, specializing in PL/SQL development for the BFSI sector. This role is pivotal in implementing, customizing, supporting, and deploying cloud-based NICE Actimize solutions for global financial services clients. You will engage in hands-on technical work, learn enterprise platforms, solve complex challenges, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders. Your curiosity and proactive approach will be key in building real-world solutions for financial crime and compliance.

As part of our global Professional Services organization, you will contribute to mission-critical solutions for leading financial institutions. In a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you will configure, customize, test, and deploy Actimize solutions designed to protect significant financial assets and millions of customers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements and assess technical feasibility.
• Configure and customize NICE Actimize solutions to meet client-specific needs.
• Develop and enhance solution components using SQL, Java, and Actimize development tools.
• Integrate Actimize solutions with customer ecosystems and downstream systems.
• Execute functional and technical testing of configurations and customizations.
• Support deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve implementation and production issues.
• Ensure delivery quality, stability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, SMEs, and senior engineers on complex implementations.
• Participate in peer code reviews, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Contribute to documentation, including design notes, SOPs, configuration guides, and deployment runbooks.
• Continuously learn Actimize products, financial crime domains, and cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in SDLC, implementation, technical services, or application support.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to learn new platforms, tools, and business domains.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to NICE Actimize solutions or similar enterprise platforms.
• Basic Java programming knowledge.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or financial crime domains.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Basic understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
