Your Role

As an AMM Author for Airbus programs, you will be instrumental in creating and updating Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) to meet stringent technical specifications and aviation standards. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, analyzing source data to ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation across a variety of Airbus platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting and analyzing source data, including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Creating or revising AMM content in strict adherence to Airbus technical specifications and documentation standards.
• Working on Airframe and Systems ATA chapters for prominent Airbus programs such as SA, LR, MB, and XWB.
• Leveraging essential Airbus tools such as SAP, GAMS, DACAS/Arbotext Editor, and Airina for authoring and data management.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, including ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100.

Your Profile

• Experience: 2-8 years in AMM authoring, with a preference for experience within Airbus programs.
• Technical Expertise:
• A strong understanding of Airframe and Systems ATA chapters.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Tool Knowledge: Demonstrated hands-on experience with Airbus documentation tools such as GIPSY, GIDOCA, SAP, ZAMIZ, DACAS, and PDMLink.
• Standards Familiarity: Well-versed in ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100.
