Full Job Description
At Volante Technologies, we are seeking a **Production Support Analyst** to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our payment applications in a 24/7 production environment. This role requires hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production incidents while adhering to strict SLAs. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring applications and performing proactive troubleshooting to maintain system stability.
- Investigating and resolving production incidents as part of Level 2 support, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues, and implementing preventive actions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and business stakeholders to gather information and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Managing alerts, incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Confluence.
- Performing log analysis, executing SQL queries, and validating data to support issue resolution.
- Following ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Supporting production deployments and participating in release validation activities.
- Maintaining and updating runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
- Working in rotational shifts to support continuous operations.
**Qualifications:**
- 3-5 years of experience in Production Support, preferably in the Payments or Banking domain.
- Proven expertise in Java, Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL, MongoDB, and Unix/Linux commands.
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) and monitoring tools (Grafana, New Relic).
- Strong understanding of APIs, integration concepts, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and scripting (Shell/Python) for automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
