Product Support Engineer

We are seeking a Product Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support to customers and evaluators of Emerson MES products, specifically Syncade. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting installation issues, assisting with product configuration, and resolving hardware and operating problems related to product functionality. You will work closely with customers and internal software development teams to diagnose and resolve complex software product issues. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting application processes and system resources to ensure key system performance indicators are met. You will be responsible for developing methods and gathering technical data to effectively reproduce customer issues and communicate requirements to the development team, ensuring compliance with defined service level agreements.

Key tasks include executing and improving functional, performance, and non-regression tests, and implementing innovative techniques to optimize troubleshooting time. You will also be tasked with documenting technical knowledge and solutions in manual form. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer issues concurrently is essential. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in the manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. You should be eager to learn new technologies, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be adept at diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to be a great team player and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent, good knowledge of database software like SQL Server, and experience with Crystal Reports, scripting, IIS, Linux, and MongoDB would be a plus.
