Disney is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Product Software Engineering Architect in Bangalore to lead architecture design and delivery of resilient, large-scale distributed platforms. The role involves setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, influencing organizational architecture, and ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and future-ready.

• Architect, design, implement, and support secure, highly scalable distributed backend and frontend systems.
• Define technical direction and engineering best practices tailored for the Indian market context.
• Establish standards for system design, testing, monitoring, observability, and deployment of low-latency microservices relevant to local infrastructure needs.
• Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews while mentoring diverse engineering teams in Bangalore.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders across departments to convert requirements into technical roadmaps optimized for regional delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and platform reliability within Disney India's ecosystem.
• Act as a technical authority for engineering stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Support operational excellence, monitoring, alerting, and on-call responsibilities in line with Indian time zones.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities in diverse environments including India's tech landscape.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and TypeScript essential for building scalable applications.
• Strong experience with React.js and Node.js frameworks commonly used in modern web development.
• Deep expertise in building and scaling REST APIs and microservices, preferably using Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design principles applicable to global platforms.
• Experience influencing technical direction beyond immediate teams within large organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of software security, code quality, and operational excellence best practices.
