Product Manager

JoVE, a world-leading producer of video solutions, is seeking a Product Manager: Platform to join our growing team in Delhi, India. Our mission is to accelerate scientific research and education by building the most impactful EdTech content platform globally, trusted by institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Pfizer.

As our platform evolves, we require a skilled Product Manager to enhance its speed, intelligence, and extensibility. You will play a crucial role in developing the foundational systems that drive growth, personalization, experimentation, and analytics at scale.

The Role

This position operates at the intersection of engineering, data, and growth. You will be responsible for building essential components including micro-services, experimentation frameworks, internal tools, APIs, and instrumentation, enabling JoVE to innovate rapidly and scale reliably.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for core platform services and micro-service architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to architect scalable and modular systems.
• Establish product instrumentation standards for capturing key platform metrics.
• Develop and deploy APIs, internal tools, and reusable services to facilitate faster product experimentation.
• Build systems to support personalization, content discovery and delivery, accessibility, and analytics.
• Manage platform KPIs focused on reliability, latency, adoption, and experimentation velocity.
• Partner with data teams to define event tracking frameworks and analytics infrastructure.
• Evaluate build versus buy opportunities to reduce technical and vendor dependencies.
• Ensure platform decisions enhance product velocity for growth, content, and enterprise use cases.
• Drive large-scale innovation by enabling rapid feature iteration across global markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 2-5 years of Product Management experience.
• Proven experience building products within EdTech, SaaS, marketplaces, healthtech, or consumer tech sectors.
• Exposure to backend systems, APIs, or micro-services driven architectures.
• Familiarity with SQL, event tracking, data pipelines, or experimentation frameworks.
• Proficiency in defining and tracking product metrics that measure and improve business performance beyond superficial dashboards.
• A results-driven, self-motivated individual comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
