About the Role

Liberty Mutual is seeking a motivated Product Manager specializing in Personal Lines Underwriting to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is crucial for driving product innovation and ensuring regulatory compliance within the general insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the filing of new and updated insurance products with IRDAI across all business lines, including Motor, Personal Lines, Health, and Commercial.
• Collaborate closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, and Compliance departments to develop comprehensive product documentation.
• Conduct thorough market research to track competitor product launches and perform benchmarking analysis.
• Prepare and manage regulatory Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
• Organize and facilitate Product Management Committee (PMC) meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on observations.
• Oversee and manage Underwriting (UW) audits to maintain high standards of practice.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a Post Graduate degree, with a specialization in Insurance being a significant advantage.
• Possess 2-4 years of relevant experience in the General Insurance Industry, specifically within Underwriting.
• Experience with Product Filing teams in the Life or General Insurance industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with peers and senior management.
• Solid understanding of General Insurance products and their underlying principles.
• Familiarity with Product Filing procedures and associated regulations is a plus.

About the Opportunity
