Product Manager

Role Overview

The Product Manager – JLG will support the business unit by overseeing product-level P&L tracking, cost governance, MIS reporting, and operational controls. This role involves managing purchase orders, invoice processing, financial planning, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze product profitability and manage comprehensive P&L reports.
  
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and business teams to validate cost drivers.
  
• Perform deep-dive cost analysis to identify variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  
• Create detailed performance reports and presentations for management review.
  
• Maintain strict budget discipline by monitoring expenses and key metrics.
  
• Handle Purchase Order (PO) issuance and invoice validation workflows.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and accounts teams to ensure timely payments and accurate reconciliations.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic MIS dashboards for business performance tracking.
  
• Leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
  
• Support daily business activities (BAU), project reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
  
• Promote process automation and reporting enhancements through advanced analytics.
  
• Partner with stakeholders to align on data integrity, reporting standards, and operational needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable expertise in P&L management, financial analytics, and cost structure optimization.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools with a meticulous attention to detail.
  
• Familiarity with end-to-end PO and invoice management processes.
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with strong stakeholder communication skills.
  
• Adept at working autonomously within fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience Level

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Business Finance, FP&A, MIS, Business Analytics, Product Finance, or similar roles.
  
• Proven track record in P&L analysis, cost management, procurement coordination, and business reporting.
  
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Excel for advanced data manipulation and analytics.
