Product Manager II - Windows Platform & Developer Experience

Responsibilities

• Own a specific customer problem area within WPD, from initial problem definition and Product Requirements Document (PRD)/roadmap creation through execution with engineering and successful launch and customer adoption.
• Define and deliver WPD features by translating customer needs into robust platform features and clear guidance, fostering strong partnerships across product groups and with key stakeholders.
• Drive AI-forward product innovation by embedding Artificial Intelligence as a core competency in product design and user experience, transitioning from static specifications to rapid experimentation and model-first thinking, and actively applying AI in daily workflows.
• Foster extensive cross-team collaboration by partnering effectively with engineering, program management, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive end-to-end scenarios and facilitate customer enablement.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple software product development methodologies.
• Strong cross-group collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results within cross-functional teams.

Other Requirements

• Must be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
• At least 2 years of experience in improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., increasing customer base, expanding customer usage, reducing customer churn).
• At least 2 years of experience in disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., through competitive disruption or displacing established competing products).
