Product Manager I

About the Role

Refyne India is looking for an analytical and collaborative Product Manager I to lead a high-performing team responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from strategy formulation to post-launch evaluation. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration to develop product roadmaps and identify new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs and problems, leveraging various research methods, feedback channels, and metrics to drive product decisions. You will communicate and collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture teams, and business stakeholders, demonstrating a clear approach to implementing cross-product solutions. Responsibilities include identifying, designing, experimenting with, and iterating on product capabilities based on customer feedback, behavioral data, and market research. A key aspect of this role is to conceptualize unifying elements and common denominators, design data and workflow interfaces, translate these into engineering-ready user stories, and work with product designers to create a self-serve product that simplifies data interaction. You will own your product by setting a clear vision, defining and communicating your roadmap, and evangelizing your product strategy to senior management and diverse stakeholders through customer research, data analysis, and documentation. Inspiring and leading your team to execute and deliver on your vision is crucial, with a focus on ruthlessly prioritizing the team's backlog to maximize customer impact. Defining and analyzing key performance metrics to inform product decisions is also a core responsibility.

Key Qualifications

• Startup enthusiasm and a proven ability to innovate with a customer-first mindset.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a customer-facing role that fostered empathy for customer problems.
• Prior experience in B2B, SaaS, and/or Agile development environments is a plus.
• Understanding of client-server web application architecture and operation, including knowledge of APIs.
• Previous experience in the Fintech domain is a plus.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills with a willingness to challenge assumptions. Enjoy interacting with customers and using their feedback to build improved solutions.
• A thoughtful approach to experimentation, balancing the need to move fast with the commitment to deliver real value.
• Proficiency with SQL and other data tools for insights generation and decision support.
