Our platform analyzes user data to predict glucose patterns, behavior, and adherence risk, delivering real-time, personalized guidance on meals, glucose, stress, activity, and sleep. This engine is also being adapted for other chronic conditions.
Role Overview: Product Manager - Growth
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager - Growth to spearhead Tap Health's acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue initiatives. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing high-impact experiments across key areas including user onboarding, pricing strategies, referral programs, lifecycle management, and landing page optimization.
This role demands close collaboration with our engineering, design, data, and marketing teams to foster compounding growth and cultivate a habit-forming product experience. Success in this position is measured by tangible outcomes, driven by data-informed decisions, rapid iteration, and a sharp focus on user experience to move critical metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Your core responsibility is to drive user and revenue growth through ownership of the following workstreams:
Acquisition and Top-of-Funnel
- Optimize conversion rates from impression to install to signup across web, app stores, and in-app touchpoints.
- Lead experimental initiatives on landing pages and app store assets to enhance conversion rates.
- Design and scale innovative referral programs and growth loops incorporating features like Tap Score, streaks, and quests.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team on creative strategies, channel mix optimization, and budget efficiency.
Activation and First Value
- Define clear activation criteria and leading indicators for diverse user segments.
- Develop and deploy effective onboarding flows, checklists, and sample experiences to accelerate the time to first value.
- Optimize WhatsApp engagement flows and lead capture mechanisms to boost Day 0 and Day 1 activation rates.
Retention and Habit Formation
- Partner with the Digital Therapeutics (DTx) and Game Engine teams to transform daily user actions into rewarding streaks, XP, and level-up achievements.
- Construct personalized lifecycle journeys utilizing push notifications, email, in-app messages, and WhatsApp, triggered by user behavior.
- Systematically improve D7 and D30 retention rates and reduce churn through continuous experimentation.
Monetization and Pricing
- Own the strategy and execution for paywalls, trial periods, pricing models, product bundling, and microtransactions.
- Drive increases in paid conversions, renewal rates, and Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) through well-defined hypotheses and rigorous testing.
- Implement targeted offers and promotions while ensuring margin integrity and maximizing Lifetime Value (LTV).
Experimentation and Analytics
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of experiments, including clear hypotheses, power calculations, and success metrics.
- Define event schemas and tracking protocols with the engineering team; rigorously validate data quality.
- Develop and monitor key dashboards for Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), LTV, cohort retention, and payback periods; lead weekly reviews and post-mortems.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Produce concise Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and tickets; ensure rapid, high-quality delivery in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
- Partner with data science to develop segmentation strategies, propensity scoring models, and churn prediction algorithms.
- Support B2B2C and partnership funnels by designing appropriate user flows and integrations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in product management, growth marketing, or marketing operations within consumer technology; D2C or digital health experience is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of user funnels, attribution models, cohort analysis, A/B testing methodologies, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proficiency in collaborating with engineering and data teams to define events, APIs, and automation logic.
- Adept at ad hoc data analysis and experiment readout interpretation.
- Prior experience or a keen interest in AI-driven personalization, predictive motivation, or behavioral segmentation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality, exceptional communication skills, and a bias for action in fast-paced environments.
