Job Summary:
Meditrix Cosmeceuticals is seeking a driven Product Manager for Business Development to spearhead growth in our manufacturing services division. This role is pivotal in lead generation, client engagement, and sales process management, with a particular focus on leveraging platforms like IndiaMART. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry to order fulfillment, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients and our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Manage and optimize the IndiaMART platform for lead acquisition and response.
- Proactively generate new business leads via calls, emails, digital channels, and networking.
- Effectively handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries.
- Identify and qualify prospective clients, converting leads into confirmed business orders.
- Implement consistent follow-up strategies to maximize conversion rates.
- Understand client manufacturing needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Execute structured lead qualification processes to secure new clients.
End-to-End Sales Coordination
- Oversee the complete sales lifecycle from initial inquiry to final order closure.
- Prepare and present compelling quotations, proposals, and product specifications.
- Facilitate pricing negotiations and provide essential support.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all client communications and order details.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients availing our manufacturing services.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term relationships with clients.
- Accurately capture and convey client requirements to internal departments.
- Address client inquiries promptly and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Drive customer satisfaction to foster repeat business and loyalty.
Internal Coordination & Operations Support
- Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, quality assurance, and procurement teams for efficient order execution.
- Liaise with vendors for raw material and procurement requirements when necessary.
- Track order progress and provide regular client updates.
- Ensure seamless communication flow between sales, operations, and management.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and actively manage pending leads.
- Contribute to revenue growth through strategic follow-ups and relationship management.
- Support company initiatives for business expansion.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Maintain up-to-date records of leads, conversions, and outstanding inquiries.
- Analyze sales data to provide actionable business insights to management.
- Monitor and report on IndiaMART lead performance and conversion metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Any Graduate or Post Graduate degree; MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Product Management, or Manufacturing Sales.
- Industry Preference: Experience in the Personal Care, Beauty, or Cosmeceutical industry is advantageous.
- Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with IndiaMART or similar B2B platforms is a significant plus.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective follow-up and lead conversion, multitasking capability, strong coordination and organizational skills, basic understanding of CRM systems, and good analytical and reporting skills.
