Product Manager - Affordable Mortgage Loans
IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a dedicated Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the Affordable Home Loan (HL) & Loan Against Property (LAP) products within the Affordable Mortgage Loans business unit. This role, based at Naman Chambers in Mumbai, India, requires strategic thinking for product development, process optimization, market analysis, and P&L management. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring a strong competitive market position for our affordable mortgage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous market research to identify emerging trends and sector opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis, including SWOT evaluations, to uncover strategic advantages.
- Adapt product features and market positioning in response to dynamic market conditions.
- Execute post-launch product audits and re-evaluate competitor strategies.
- Analyze key product and portfolio performance metrics to inform decisions.
- Optimize pricing structures and refine marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Evaluate channel performance and rationalize product portfolios for maximum impact.
- Design and implement innovative, user-friendly customer journeys.
- Customize and digitize loan origination processes and supporting system platforms.
- Determine product pricing through rigorous market research and cost analysis.
- Analyze Profit & Loss statements to identify trends and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct training programs for internal teams on product offerings and processes.
- Collaborate with support functions and stakeholders to ensure seamless product operations.
- Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) and prepare product decks for regular reviews.
- Engage daily with sales teams to boost disbursal volumes and expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate degree.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in product management, preferably within the mortgage or financial services sector.
