About the Role

Join our Publisher team at smallcase as a Product Manager 2 and help shape the future of investing in India. The Publisher Team spearheads product strategy for critical areas within the smallcase ecosystem, serving both B2B and B2C clients. Key focus areas include:

• Publisher Platform: Empowering licensed professionals to productize their research and scale their practices with automated investor communication, reporting, and fee collection.
• Ecosystem Payments: Developing a custom checkout solution for seamless payment workflows across subscriptions, mutual funds, and credit offerings.
• Wealth Office: Building an innovative AI-enabled net worth tracking and management solution for users.

This role offers a dynamic range of challenges, from launching new 0-1 products to scaling established platforms from 1-1000 and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the product roadmap and strategy, aligning with leadership vision.
• Develop novel, first-principles solutions for complex problems.
• Conduct user research to inform product direction and ensure user-centric design.
• Manage end-to-end product execution, translating specifications into high-quality features.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously across cross-functional teams.
• Analyze user data and business metrics to optimize product performance and flow.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of product management experience, covering the full development lifecycle (sprints, specifications, implementation).
• Strong product sense with expertise in Information Architecture, UI/UX, and Interaction Design.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics for actionable insights and product design.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for internal and external collaboration and leadership alignment.
• Experience in building scalable platform or marketplace products.
• Experience embedding AI models into product flows or agentic workflows is a plus.
• Understanding of financial and stock market terms is advantageous.
