Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification

Analyze the competitive landscape and market environment to identify opportunities for new product launches and line extensions. Understand medium to long-term market evolution and brand portfolio trends. Conduct macro-level competitor research and micro-level observations during market visits. Utilize data analysis and mining to inform marketing decisions.

Brand Strategy Development

Develop comprehensive brand development strategies, including the preparation of marketing mixes, brand positioning, product differentiation techniques, and managing the brand lifecycle.

Marketing Campaign Development

Create marketing activities and product promotional campaigns. Employ analytical tools for problem-solving and decision-making. Implement customer segmentation and targeting strategies. Design and develop promotional inputs, set goals, and establish action plans with timelines and monitoring mechanisms.

Brand Positioning and Communication

Develop brand positioning, communication strategies, and promotional tools. Utilize communication strategies and tools effectively. Train field force on the use of in-clinic communication drivers.

Market Penetration Strategies

Direct marketing and promotional activities to opportunistic market segments for maximum penetration. Explore and identify potential market segments and new frontiers. Leverage new business opportunities and alliances. Plan inputs based on saliency.

Supply Chain Coordination

Liaise with production and supply chain departments to ensure adequate stock availability aligned with billing plans.

Customer Relationship Management

Develop customer relationship activities to influence decision-makers and influencers. Focus on key customer development (CRM activities) and engage in direct customer interaction and negotiation through visits.

Sales Team Implementation and Review

Drive the implementation of strategies through the sales team. Train the sales force on promotional strategies and unique selling propositions (USPs). Review the effectiveness of strategies and tools. Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and colleagues. Travel to locations to oversee the implementation of marketing programs.

Financial Management and ROI

Review financial budgets and return on investments (ROI). Maximize gross margins and contribution from the assigned product portfolio. Implement tactical interventions, including line extensions, to optimize profits.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, practices, government regulations, regulatory bodies, and market approvals.
