Product Engineer

Live at the intersection of product, design, and engineering: take a feature from conception to deployed production. Cityflo moves over 60,000 commuters daily; you will own features end-to-end covering ideation, design, frontend development, backend logic with Python (Django) or Go, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS deployments.

What we look for

• 1–4 years building real product: shipped features end-to-end independently
• Comfortable across the stack including React frontend development and Python or Go backend engineering with REST APIs and database management
• Strong product instinct prioritizing user needs before framework choices, with expertise in UX design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive web interfaces for mobile-first experiences
• Leverage LLMs in production workflows through prompt engineering techniques and API integrations such as OpenAI or Gemini models to solve complex customer problems efficiently
• Ownership mindset: make decisions independently documenting rationale clearly while moving quickly on implementation tasks
• Data integrity focus treating user input and model outputs as untrusted data requiring validation before deployment in production environments

The assignment

You will analyze a spreadsheet of recent rider feedback messages to build a web view using LLMs where it genuinely adds value. Your task involves identifying the key users facing critical problems, deliberately cutting scope for focus, and surfacing 2–3 high-priority items needing attention through smart triage or clustering techniques.

Requirements

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js for building responsive web interfaces
• Experience integrating Large Language Models into production workflows using OpenAI API, Google Gemini SDKs, and similar platforms to solve real customer problems efficiently while maintaining data integrity standards throughout the development lifecycle from ideation through deployment stages including CI/CD pipeline integration with AWS cloud infrastructure services like S3 storage buckets for asset hosting or Lambda functions for serverless computing capabilities
• Ability to write clean maintainable code following industry best practices ensuring scalability performance security compliance across various technical domains within software engineering teams working collaboratively on cross-functional product initiatives driven by user-first thinking principles that prioritize delivering value through thoughtful design decisions informed by deep understanding of both customer needs and technological constraints faced during implementation phases
