Infracloud Technologies is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes internals, control-plane development, and Golang microservices. This is a Work From Office (WFO) position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Kubernetes controllers and operators, defining new Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Develop robust REST and gRPC APIs for various platform components and services.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Kubernetes management plane.
• Build and maintain microservices using Golang, leveraging 1-2 years of hands-on experience.
• Work with virtualization and container platforms such as KubeVirt and OpenShift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to architect scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Augment (a plus).

Required Skills:

• Significant experience with Kubernetes internals, particularly controller and operator implementation.
• Proficiency in defining and managing Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Hands-on development experience with Golang microservices.
• Proven ability to build and consume REST and gRPC APIs.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies like KubeVirt and OpenShift.
• Prior experience working on Kubernetes management plane components or similar distributed systems.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AI-driven development tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments, containers, and orchestration technologies.
