Product Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Engineer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to support the design, development, and improvement of innovative office furniture products within our global manufacturing environment. You will apply core engineering principles to ensure solutions are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet high quality standards.

• Support the design and development of new product enhancements using advanced engineering tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize processes for cost efficiency and quality control.
• Conduct basic cost analysis and material evaluations; lead make-versus-buy feasibility studies.
• Create and process engineering change orders while maintaining precise documentation standards.
• Perform tolerance analysis, geometric dimensioning, and support tooling/equipment development with suppliers.
• Ensure proper form, fit, and function by coordinating closely with design detailing teams.
• Aid in prototype development, test planning, and benchmark evaluations of product performance.
• Maintain compliance with QA standards across all product lines.
