Product Designer (UX/UI) at PayPay India

PayPay India is seeking a talented Product Designer to drive user-centric product creation. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior designers to develop innovative features and enhance existing ones, prioritizing exceptional user experiences.

Position Overview

Join our team to contribute to developing new features and refining existing ones within the PayPay application and merchant tools. You will be instrumental in delivering groundbreaking financial experiences to our users.

• Design the end-to-end UX/UI for the PayPay application and web/app tools for merchants.
• Develop UX flows and UI designs based on established concepts.
• Conduct user research, including quantitative and qualitative analysis through surveys and interviews.
• Analyze product performance using numerical data and propose data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and senior designers throughout the UX and UI design process.
• Gain a deep understanding of project concepts and requirements to propose inclusive, comprehensive, and consistent UX flows, culminating in polished UI designs.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of professional experience in mobile app (iOS/Android) UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in product releases, measuring effectiveness, and implementing product improvements.
• Experience using PayPay or similar financial/payment applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) and design thinking methodologies.
• Experience managing in-house developed services.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI/LLM-based tools within daily workflows, ensuring human oversight, judgment, and accountability drive final product decisions.
