Product Designer
Full Job Description
About This Role
We are building an India-first travel product that replaces the fragmented experience of planning a trip with ChatGPT, Reddit, Instagram, spreadsheets, and multiple booking apps into one seamless platform. Our solution guides travelers from a hazy idea to a fully booked itinerary, providing continuous support throughout their journey using AI backed by real humans.
Why This Matters
This is not just another OTA grid with a chatbot bolted on; it requires tackling the design problem of conversational planning, multi-vendor orchestration (visas, flights, stays, activities), building trust at high-ticket moments, and managing handoffs between AI and humans. While Indian travel apps have trained users to search-filter-sort-book, we are betting that model is wrong and you will help design what replaces it.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end design for features within the trip journey, from problem framing to shipped pixels.
- Design AI-native interactions, innovate and set standards: conversational inputs, generative UI, confidence and uncertainty states, and AI-to-human handoffs.
- Prototype before you present. Show, don't tell.
- Work daily with engineers and PMs. You'll ship in days, not quarters.
- Make calls without waiting for layers of approvals, and tell us why you made them.
- Raise the quality bar. Notice what's off in shipped work, including your own, and fix it.
Non-negotiables
- 1-3 years designing B2C products that real users shipped and used. Show us what you owned, not what your team did.
- A high bar on craft: spacing, typography, motion, empty and error states. We'll look at the details in your portfolio.
- Strong interaction design and prototyping skills (Figma prototypes, Framer, code, or whatever gets the idea working).
- Hands-on fluency with AI products. You use them daily, can say what's broken in them, and have opinions on how they should behave.
- A track record of challenging the status quo. You've changed a pattern, a process, or a decision on a past project, and you can show what you did and what happened. Opinions alone don't count.
