Role Overview: Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Product Design Engineer based in Jamshedpur (serving the Kolkata region) to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for driveline systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD models, 2D drawings, and comprehensive documentation using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Production, and Quality to refine concepts and ensure manufacturability.
• Analyze design specifications, resolve technical issues, and implement design changes based on test results and customer feedback.
• Support prototype development, testing activities, and validation processes.
• Participate in cost optimization initiatives and adhere strictly to industry standards (GD&T, safety norms).

Qualifications & Requirements:

You must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. Essential skills include strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for 3D modeling, solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles regarding performance and reliability, and hands-on experience with Product Development lifecycles from concept to validation.

Beneficial expertise includes familiarity with GD&T, FEA basics, tolerance analysis, and advanced materials/manufacturing processes. A proven track record in automotive or industrial product design is highly advantageous.
