Product Analyst

Amber is seeking a skilled Product Analyst to join their dynamic team in Pune, India. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers to drive data-informed product development, define and track key performance metrics, and measure the impact of experiments. You will be responsible for analyzing results, recommending product improvements, and developing new metrics and strategies to enhance product performance. Key responsibilities include building dashboards to monitor feature rollouts and product success, ensuring data integrity and reliability by working with engineers, and conducting experiments to evaluate new features. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to execution, and the ability to translate customer feedback and data insights into actionable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers to analyze data and identify insights with minimal guidance.
• Define and track metrics for product and functional performance, ensuring standardized definitions.
• Measure the impact of functional experiments, analyze results, and guide course corrections.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements.
• Develop new metrics, techniques, and strategies to enhance performance.
• Build dashboards to monitor feature rollout progress and long-term product success.
• Work with engineers to ensure and improve data availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the impact of new product features.
• Execute product development initiatives with precision, ensuring successful launches.
• Perform deep dives into data to identify key problem statements and target segments for experimentation-driven development.
• Synthesize insights from customer feedback, experiments, research, and data analysis to identify trends, pinpoint drivers, and translate them into tactical product solutions.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redshift, and data analysis using Google Sheets and Python.
• Ability to understand and articulate analytical insights clearly.
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is essential.
• Skilled in working with large datasets and writing efficient SQL for ETL processes.
• Understanding of Tableau for data visualization.
• Solid grasp of basic analytics principles.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have:

• Experience in Machine Learning.
• Expertise in Tableau.
• Proficiency in additional languages like Python and Google AppScript.
• Familiarity with the AWS stack.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech or MSc degree.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
