Precision Medicine Group is seeking a motivated Product Analyst to join their team in Pune, India. This role is integral to supporting the Product Team and client business processes through the maintenance and enhancement of existing products and the creation of new ones. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset and technical expertise, with a proven ability to work with large datasets, derive insights, and deliver value to stakeholders. Experience in product management and development is highly desired.

The Product Analyst will combine operational, technical, and analytic skills with strong problem-solving and communication abilities. Collaboration with Senior Data Analysts and Product Owners is key to ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Execution: Understand and articulate client business needs, operating rules, data structures, and standard operating procedures. Execute and suggest improvements to operational procedures and workflows, collaborating with Senior Data Analysts and Product Owners. Assist Product Owners in streamlining idea-to-development processes and technical requirement definition.
• Product Development: Enhance and maintain data products by understanding underlying data, product offerings, client needs, and business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders on business objectives, support product management in development and execution, and partner to create and maintain roadmap documentation. Document solutions and decisions, and create technical requirements, user stories, and test plans within an Agile framework.
• Data Analysis: Compare datasets to ensure data quality and derive actionable insights. Apply quality checks and validations to product delivery and reporting, summarizing results for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with global teams across different time zones to ensure timely project completion. Assist engineering teams with knowledge transfer and testing of new procedures and enhancements. Facilitate product knowledge transfer to engineering, engagement, and other teams. Partner with stakeholders to understand client needs and pain points, translating them into user stories. Work closely with the product team to ensure clear and comprehensive requirements.
• Knowledge Development: Build subject matter expertise in operational processes, data tools, content, technology, and Scrum/Agile methodologies. Stay updated on tools and techniques for process enhancement. Develop a functional understanding of product offerings and deployment stacks to facilitate effective user story and requirement writing.
• Project Management: Manage multiple client tasks simultaneously, enhancing analytical, task management, and communication skills. Track unplanned tasks arising from product developments. Maximize time management to balance workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Coordinate meetings and prepare status update documentation for ongoing projects.
• Research and Problem-Solving: Conduct secondary research on marketplace conditions, competitive environments, and best practices to maintain product quality and address client queries. Co-lead design sessions to document feature requirements and guide stakeholder decision-making. Investigate issues and recommend solutions for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields. A Master's degree in engineering, MBA, PGDM, or equivalent is preferred.
• 1-2 years of domain expertise in market access secondary data analytics, data science, primary market research, field analytics and insights, patient service analytics, or strategic analytics and management consulting is highly desired.
• Strong Market Access business acumen with the ability to interpret information from multiple sources is preferred.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical ecosystem and familiarity with data sets such as prescription data (IQVIA PLANTRAK, Symphony Transactions), medical and pharmacy claims (IQVIA LAAD, Symphony Claims), formulary datasets (MMIT, DRG), specialty pharmacy and hub data, and non-retail sales data (IQVIA DDD) is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience using data mining languages/tools like SQL, Python, R, and Excel. Exposure to stored procedures, slide creation (decks), Retool, Power BI, and Power Query is a plus.
• Experience in product development, management, or operations.
• Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to managing execution.
• Detail and results-oriented with a strong focus on quality, analytics, operations, communication, and collaboration.
• Proven ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
