Product Analyst

Join McKinsey's Periscope team in Bengaluru, India, as a Product Analyst and contribute to the technological backbone of our Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping product strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, user needs, and market dynamics. You will leverage customer and competitor insights to prioritize and guide the development of innovative solutions, translating business needs into actionable functional requirements. Collaboration with technology, support, and client service teams will be key to managing product updates and deployments. You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify growth opportunities, and lead workshops to ensure both internal teams and customers maximize product value.

You will play a pivotal role in steering cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineering delivery teams, to design and deliver impactful solutions addressing business challenges. Building and maintaining key relationships across the organization to deliver prioritized product roadmaps will be essential. Partnering with marketing, sales, and partner organizations to develop effective go-to-market strategies is also a core responsibility. You will be accountable for the growth and success of products, fostering innovation and creativity within the team. Periscope combines world-class intellectual property, prescriptive analytics, and cloud-based tools to drive revenue growth and sustain commercial transformation for businesses globally.

Responsibilities:

• Shape and drive product plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy, user needs, and market trends.
• Define and execute comprehensive product strategies aligned with client goals across brands, markets, and products.
• Continuously improve existing offerings based on insights from customer and competitor research.
• Prioritize and guide the development of innovative solutions, translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Collaborate closely with technology, support, and client service teams to manage product updates and deployments.
• Define and track KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to showcase product features and maximize value for internal teams and customers.
• Steer cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineering delivery teams, to design and deliver impactful solutions.
• Build and maintain key relationships across the organization to deliver prioritized product roadmaps.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and partner organizations to develop effective go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a STEM-related field is typically preferred.
• 1+ year of working/internship experience in a startup's product function, technology, and/or consulting with a focus on product management.
• Experience delivering products throughout the product life cycle and knowledge of software lifecycle tools such as JIRA, Git, etc.
• Strong product intuition, user empathy, analytics, structured, data-driven, and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in digital product development in B2C or B2B products.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment and meeting deadlines under tight time constraints.
• Experience with designing creative, quality consumer products and enabling business capability and objectives through technology.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, demonstrating thought leadership, and influencing at all levels in the organization.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes.
