We are seeking a passionate Product Analyst to join our team in Mumbai, India. This role is crucial for solving real customer problems through insightful data analysis, experimentation, and delivering measurable impact. You will work closely with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to address user and product issues using a data-driven approach, going beyond traditional ticket resolution.
About the Role
The Product Analyst will be responsible for investigating user and product issues, identifying root causes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. This is a strategic role focused on data-driven problem-solving and continuous product improvement.
Responsibilities
- Investigate production and user issues using SQL and system data.
- Identify root causes, including bugs, data discrepancies, or process gaps.
- Collaborate with engineers to reproduce and resolve identified problems.
- Write Python scripts for data fixes and process automation.
- Analyze logs and APIs, tracing user journeys across various systems.
- Identify recurring issues and propose actionable product improvements.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to address business and product-related problem statements.
- Create basic documentation and runbooks for supported processes and systems.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a Product Analyst, Application Support, or Product Support role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and window functions.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and data manipulation (e.g., pandas).
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with APIs, JIRA, Postman, and basic Linux commands.
- Exposure to the retail, e-commerce, or supply chain industries is a plus.
