Product Analyst - Airtel Finance

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Product Analyst to join our Gurugram team and drive data-backed decisions for India's most ambitious consumer financial services franchise. You will monitor critical funnels from app journey start through KYC completion and account activation, ensuring optimal performance across acquisition, onboarding, balances, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Funnel Monitoring & Performance Tracking: Own end-to-end product funnels across digital and assisted channels. Build dashboards to track daily/weekly/monthly KPIs for the product scorecard, flag deviations early, identify funnel leakage (e.g., KYC failures), and perform root cause analysis on customer mix shifts or technical issues.
• New Product Initiatives: Define instrumentation requirements pre-launch. Design A/B experiments with clear hypotheses, quantify impact of changes on activation/engagement via Tableau/Mongo/Kibana dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Cohort & Customer Insights: Analyze cohorts to understand retention drivers (activation vs. churn). Synthesize customer voice from app feedback, call centers, and field teams with quantitative data to recommend experience improvements and track intervention efficacy.

Technical Requirements

• Data Skills: Expert-level SQL for large datasets; proficiency in Excel, Tableau, MongoDB, Kibana.
• Analytical Mindset: Hypothesis-driven problem solving and experimentation (A/B testing) experience.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience with fintech, banking, digital payments, or consumer internet products is highly preferred.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations for senior leadership. Strong stakeholder management skills essential.
