Full Job Description
Join Avoma, a growing venture-funded startup, as a Product Analyst with expertise in Amplitude. Based in Pune, India, this role is instrumental in driving our data-driven approach to product development and go-to-market strategies. You will report to the Director of Revenue Operations and work primarily from our Pune office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Amplitude as the primary analytics tool and serve as the subject-matter expert for product usage data across the organization.
- Analyze product usage trends to generate actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success (GTM), and Product teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards tracking user adoption, retention, feature engagement, and customer journeys.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to craft account-level product usage narratives that foster adoption and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Product teams to provide critical feedback loops on feature usage, customer behavior, and inform roadmap prioritization.
- Design and execute cohort and funnel analyses to identify product usage patterns and growth avenues.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both internal stakeholders and customer-facing presentations.
- Enhance data literacy across the organization by enabling team members for effective self-service analytics using Amplitude.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, preferably within a SaaS company.
- Proven hands-on experience with Amplitude, including workspace setup, dashboard creation, behavioral cohorts, event taxonomy, and advanced analytical techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform intricate data into straightforward, actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of GTM motions (Customer Success, Sales, Marketing) and product development lifecycles.
- Experience with event-based analytics and familiarity with key SaaS metrics such as DAU/WAU/MAU, feature adoption, retention, and churn.
- Essential ability to communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A self-driven, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bonus points for familiarity with SQL, Looker, Tableau, or other BI tools.
