Pro Audio / Video Software Engineer

About the Role

Panasonic Professional Video & Audio Systems (PAVNA) is expanding its professional video hardware and broadcast ecosystems by integrating powerful software platforms. In this role, you will architect, build, and ship production-quality features end-to-end using AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Specification & Build: Translate business requirements into technical plans executed directly with the aid of AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot). Define clear acceptance criteria for all deliverables. Own architecture decisions including APIs and system integrations.
• Vendor & Delivery Management: Manage software delivery from conception to shipping. Evaluate third-party proposals for technical soundness and commercial viability. Control statements of work and milestones without unnecessary escalation.
• Hardware Integration & Platform Integrity: Ensure coherence between PAVNA hardware (KAIROS, PTZ systems) and software platforms. Leverage AI capabilities like LLM APIs to enrich product features while maintaining strict security protocols for SaaS and edge-connected environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience owning technical direction end-to-end; hands-on prototype work is prioritized over tenure.
• Fluent, primary use of AI tools (LLM APIs, coding assistants) for building and iterating software.
• Familiarity with web, desktop, hardware-integrated environments, and security fundamentals (API auth, credential management).
• Strong communication skills to translate business stakeholder direction into technical solutions.
