Principal Software Developer, AI-First EHR - Oracle Health

Join Oracle's Health Orders and Pharmacy Ecosystem team as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and play a key role in building cutting-edge AI-first Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities. This is an opportunity to modernize healthcare's core intelligence system, delivering advanced AI, superior user experiences, and open APIs.

We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer with a proven track record in frontend development, Java service development, and public cloud environments. You will be instrumental in developing and deploying state-of-the-art pharmacy solutions within our AI-first EHR platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI-first EHR capabilities, focusing on pharmacy ecosystem modernization.
• Build and maintain robust Java services.
• Contribute to advanced frontend development, enhancing user experience.
• Design and implement open APIs for seamless customer integration.
• Deploy and manage services on public cloud platforms, including Kubernetes.
• Ensure high-quality code through continuous integration and automated testing.
• Collaborate effectively in an agile, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in frontend JavaScript development; React or Preact experience is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Java service development; Micronaut framework experience is a plus.
• Experience with deploying and managing services on Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong skills in REST API design and implementation.
• Comprehensive full-stack development experience, particularly with public cloud providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Comfort and experience working in a collaborative, agile development setting.
• Experience with Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS services, and/or related cloud engineering infrastructure development is highly desirable.
