Principle Back End Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Principal Back End Engineer with at least 7+ years of experience, ideally in marketplace environments, to join our fast-growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-performance eCommerce platform capable of handling large transaction volumes.
• Integrate secure payment gateways and real-time inventory management systems.
• Optimize backend performance to ensure fast load times and smooth user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product, design, and marketing teams to implement new features.
• Implement security best practices including data protection, encryption, and regular audits.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Back-End Development Experience with JavaScript proficiency.
• Expertise in modern web technologies including Node.js, Python, Golang and frameworks like Svelte, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on experience building eCommerce platforms, preferably in wholesale or B2B markets.
• Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services/payment gateways.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging complex systems.
