Responsibilities

• Lead a talented team of software engineers in building data solutions to provide E+D with strategic insights for optimal user experience and rapid adaptation to evolving market conditions.
• Apply engineering and analytical skills to petabyte-scale data challenges, utilizing modern data analytics technologies and a growing number of data signals from the M365 suite and company partners.
• Model Microsoft's culture of inclusion, learning, and growth. Coach employees for learning and career development, while prioritizing the overall health, success, and satisfaction of individual team members and the team as a whole.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, plus 12+ years of technical engineering experience with data engineering technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Kusto, Flink, or Azure Data Factory.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, data platforms, or large-scale telemetry pipelines.
• 2+ years of people management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.
• Proven experience with full-stack development.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (required upon hire/transfer and biennially thereafter).
