About the Role
We are seeking an innovative Principal Software Engineer to join our agile team within SimCorp's Product Division. You will work on the acclaimed Dimension product, focusing on backend development and APIs using C#, APL (Dyalog), and Oracle databases.
- Lead technical efforts in design, development, and testing for our Portfolio Analysis solutions.
- Pioneering the integration of AI to enhance user experiences and engineering productivity.
- Define test architecture and quality strategies at a team level.
- Mentor engineers while driving automation-first practices across the organization.
- Balancing active coding in C# and APL with guiding automation initiatives.
- Ensuring high-quality delivery by monitoring coverage, test metrics, and quality KPIs.
- Mentoring and coaching engineers on development, testing skills, and engineering processes.
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer with:
- Advanced C# skills and insight into the .NET framework (M.Sc. in Computer Science preferred).
- Ability to learn additional technologies like APL.
- Experience developing backend services, APIs, and enterprise-level solutions.
