Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer proficient in modern Java ecosystems to lead backend development initiatives. You will work alongside technical architects to design scalable microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring high-performance solutions that align with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex Java-based features within a cloud-native environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Collaborate directly with architects to translate high-level designs into robust, production-ready implementations.
  • Maintain architectural integrity by enforcing SOLID principles, design patterns, and security best practices across all codebases.
  • Architect and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration through proper versioning, error handling, and validation strategies.
  • Design resilient database schemas and write efficient SQL queries to support high-transaction workloads.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate coding workflows while maintaining rigorous code quality reviews.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Required Skills
  • Modern Java: Expert-level command over Java 17+, including concurrency models, JVM internals, and advanced OOP concepts.
  • Spring Boot Ecosystem: Deep understanding of dependency injection, lifecycle management, security configurations, and reactive programming where applicable.
  • Microservices Architecture: Proven experience building distributed systems with a focus on resilience patterns, service mesh integration, and data consistency (Saga pattern).
  • Data Engineering: Strong SQL skills for schema design, indexing strategies, and transaction management. Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience deploying Java applications on major cloud platforms, managing containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
