Principal Software Engineer I

General Summary:

This position requires partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of designs, code, and tests while adhering to organizational standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level support to engineering teams with exceptional attention to detail
• Research, analyze, and document technical findings
• Potentially coach and review work of other team members
• Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems critical to current and future operations
• Debug complex production issues across multiple service levels
• Assist in improving organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Participate in testing through review, witnessing, and certification of software
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, industry alignment, and operating system compatibility
• Maintain technical proficiency through continuing education and participation in professional groups
