Unlock Your Future with Nexaminds!
We are seeking a hands-on Principal Software Engineer for our Experience team. In this senior role, you will drive the visual modernization of an established application by transforming legacy jQuery pages into modern, component-based Vue interfaces within a PHP stack.
This is not a ground-up rewrite; it is a strategic effort to refresh and elevate existing user experiences while preserving functionality. You will partner with product management and UX design to deliver performant, consistent, and accessible UI improvements using your expertise in Vue 3, TypeScript, CSS architecture, and state management.
Core Responsibilities
- Modernize legacy jQuery pages into modern Vue components while preserving existing behavior.
- Build responsive, high-performance, and WCAG 2.1 compliant user interfaces.
- Elevate front-end quality standards through code reviews, establishing component structures, and optimizing CSS architecture.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for agentic coding, spec-driven development, and automated code review to maximize velocity on unfamiliar legacy codebases.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate experience goals into scalable technical solutions via RESTful APIs.
What You'll Need
You must have 7+ years of web application development experience and at least 3 years in cloud-native environments. Expert-level proficiency in Vue.js, TypeScript, Modern JavaScript, CSS architecture, and front-end performance optimization is required. A demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar codebases using AI tools is essential.
