Principal Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Drainage Engineer to join our specialist team in Bengaluru. This role offers excellent career progression opportunities with expert training and mentorship support within a global engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and delivery of drainage projects from feasibility through detailed design to construction phases.
• Prepare high-quality designs and technical specifications in strict adherence to UK standards and protocols.
• Lead comprehensive technical checking, design reviews, and client progress meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage project scopes, prepare fee estimates, forecast staff utilization, and lead small teams with line management responsibilities.

Tech Stack & Tools

We value proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Causeway Flow/Infodrainage, Microstation, standard MS Office suites, and experience working to UK regulatory standards for water resources engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or Water Resources Engineering.
• Mandatory: Minimum 8 years' experience within a consultancy environment dealing with clients professionally.
• Adept communication skills (written and verbal) for stakeholder engagement.
