Principal Engineer

About the Role

As a Principal Engineer (Conveyance – Water & Wastewater Networks), you will act as a subject matter expert leading large-scale water supply and wastewater collection systems. You will drive technical excellence, guide teams on complex assignments, and ensure efficient, future-ready infrastructure for urban growth.

Your Impact

• Provide leadership in the design of water distribution networks and sewerage conveyance systems.
• Lead hydraulic modelling (steady state, extended period) using WaterGEMS & SewerGEMS.
• Oversee master planning studies including demand forecasting, load assessment, land-use analysis, and capacity gap analysis.
• Drive network optioneering for cost-effective solutions; prepare Capital investment plans and implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and promote digital tools like BIM-enabled workflows.

Technical Responsibilities

• Pipeline sizing, hydraulic calculations, system controls, and pumping systems integration.
• Audit technical QA/QC reviews for Design-Build (DfDB) and EPC projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, process).

Experience Required

We seek professionals with 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance. Strong expertise in hydraulic modelling, master planning, optioneering, and lifecycle cost analysis is essential.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Civil or Environmental Engineering background (CEng/PE preferred).
• Proficiency in WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, ArcGIS Pro, Navisworks, Civil 3D.
