Principal DevOps Engineer – Build

We are seeking a hands-on Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the design of next-generation CI/CD architecture for platform-based product development.

Role Summary

In this role, you will focus on software build and release automation, scalable delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), packaging, deployment, observability, and integrating development workflows with IT, CloudOps, and security toolchains. While security automation is critical, the primary goal is efficient, scalable, and reliable software delivery across Windows, Linux, cloud, and instrument-hosted environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of modern CI/CD architectures for R&D platform-based development across multiple languages (C/C++, C#, Python).
• Define and improve scalable build, release, packaging, and deployment automation using Terraform on AWS services.
• Create efficient build systems that maintain high standards of code quality and efficiency.
• Drive standardization in configuration management, artifact management, and software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with IT, CloudOps, and security teams to integrate workflows into corporate infrastructure.
• Modernize legacy Jenkins-based CI/CD while establishing a target AWS-based delivery architecture.
• Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) for build/test/deploy processes.
• Maintain packaging solutions including Windows installers, Linux packages, and system images.
• Enable secure automation of SAST, SCA, DAST, artifact scanning, and secrets management within CI/CD pipelines.
