We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Consultant-Data Science Tech Lead to lead the design and implementation of scalable data science solutions. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize data workflows, and ensure the successful deployment of advanced analytics and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end data science solutions, encompassing data preparation, feature engineering, model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI/ML solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in model development, experimentation, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to convert business problems into analytical solutions.
• Establish best practices for coding standards, model versioning, reproducibility, and scalable ML development.
• Mentor and guide data scientists and ML engineers through technical decisions, code reviews, and solution design.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, model reliability, security, and compliance across all data science workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, and evaluate integration opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for seamless integration of ML models into applications and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in data science or applied machine learning, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience building, validating, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models in production.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, R, or Scala, and proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Significant experience with GenAI, LLMs, or advanced NLP techniques, including building GenAI or LLM-driven applications.
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems like Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, and the modern data stack.
• Experience in product engineering and working within agile, cross-functional teams.
• Data science certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
