Principal Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications at Hawk MarTech's growing technology team in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions while mentoring developers and driving best practices.

Key responsibilities include leading full-stack development lifecycles, defining scalable architecture for web applications, implementing CI/CD pipelines, conducting code reviews, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability. You will mentor junior and mid-level developers, lead sprint planning, and own critical system components using Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and Git.

Qualifications: 8+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot, deep understanding of microservices, proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization tools like Kubernetes, GraphQL exposure preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
