About the Role

Join PointClickCare as a Principal AI Engineer specializing in Autonomous Agents. In this strategic role, you will serve as the product owner for GenAI capabilities, collaborating closely with engineering teams to identify and build scalable generative AI solutions that impact millions of lives.

Your Mission

You will design and implement agent-based solutions aligned with critical healthcare goals. Your work involves building new agent data types, pipelines, and frameworks for advanced reasoning, function calling, and action coordination using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-step planning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product objectives into autonomous agent-based solutions in partnership with Product and Engineering teams.
• Develop comprehensive security mechanisms including authentication, role-based access control, audit logging, and compliance monitoring for all AI agents.
• Securely integrate agents with existing healthcare systems, APIs, and data sources using robust communication protocols.

Who You Are

We seek an expert-level Python developer well-versed in functional programming. You must have extensive experience designing LLM agent workflows utilizing frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen. A Master's degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence is highly preferred.

• Experience implementing enterprise-scale security (MFA, network best practices) and compliance monitoring.
