ShieldByte Infosec Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Executive for our Cybersecurity SaaS Platform. This pivotal role is responsible for owning the technical and functional solutioning of our cybersecurity SaaS products. The focus will be on delivering compelling product demonstrations, conducting thorough requirement discovery, mapping solutions effectively, supporting proposal development, and enabling deals for mid-market and enterprise clients, particularly within regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product and solution expert for the company's cybersecurity SaaS platforms.
- Conduct dynamic live product demonstrations, highlighting platform capabilities, intricate workflows, intuitive dashboards, and comprehensive reporting features.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer pain points and strategically map them to relevant SaaS features, configurations, and applicable use cases.
- Actively support the sales team in discovery calls, technical discussions, and detailed solution walkthroughs.
- Prepare detailed SaaS-focused proposals, solution notes, feature mappings, and accurate scope documents.
- Clearly articulate cloud deployment models, data security protocols, access control mechanisms, integration capabilities, and platform scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to evaluate customization needs, integration possibilities, and alignment with the product roadmap.
- Assist in the definition and refinement of pricing models, including user-based, slab-based, subscription, and enterprise plans.
- Provide support for proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives, pilot deployments, and customer trials as required.
- Confidently address customer inquiries regarding platform security, compliance standards, and regulatory alignment.
- Maintain and manage demo environments, essential product documentation, compelling pitch decks, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
- Systematically track opportunities, conducted demos, and pre-sales activities within CRM systems.
- Relay valuable market feedback gathered from customer interactions to the product teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong, proven experience in SaaS pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales support roles.
- Possess a solid understanding of cloud-based SaaS architectures and established subscription business models.
- Exhibit knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, or risk and compliance platforms.
- Possess the ability to articulate product value, return on investment (ROI), and tangible business outcomes, moving beyond mere feature descriptions.
- Have prior experience working with enterprise-level and regulated customers.
- Excel in presentation, product demonstration, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to confidently handle technical objections and complex customer queries.
- Possess strong documentation and proposal-writing capabilities.
- Be comfortable and effective working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Experience with CRM tools and familiarity with pre-sales workflows is considered an advantage.
- Maintain a detail-oriented, customer-centric, and outcome-driven mindset.
