Power BI Developer Role in Mumbai
Ecolab Global Services is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team in Mumbai. This role focuses on creating impactful business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing Power BI dashboards, crafting robust semantic data models, and executing complex SQL-based data operations. Success in this position requires effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, strong communication abilities, and a talent for translating raw business needs into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards and comprehensive reports.
- Construct and manage efficient semantic models for optimal data representation and performance.
- Develop and optimize SQL Views and Stored Procedures, alongside managing crucial ETL processes for seamless data integration.
- Engage with stakeholders to accurately gather business requirements and deliver insightful, precise reports.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation for all deployed BI solutions.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Ensure the accuracy, performance, and security of all reporting solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Possess 1-5 years of dedicated experience in Power BI development, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, with a proven ability to write and manage complex queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Exhibit hands-on experience with ETL processes and various data integration methodologies.
- Possess foundational knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Qlik Sense is considered an added advantage.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excel at requirement gathering and producing clear technical documentation.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent).
- Any cloud-related certification, such as AWS or Azure fundamentals.
