Power BI Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Power BI Developer (Investments) to design, build, and maintain advanced analytics solutions supporting investment decision-making. This role combines deep Power BI expertise with strong software engineering skills in .NET for data integration.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Data Integration & Preparation: Connect Power BI to Databricks and other sources (portfolio, benchmark, risk, market data). Develop .NET (C#) APIs/batch jobs for ETL/ELT. Implement business rules for performance/risk metrics.
• Power BI Development: Build robust semantic models using advanced DAX and Power Query. Design interactive dashboards for portfolio monitoring, attribution analysis, and risk management.
• Security & Governance: Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) based on roles (desk, fund, region). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

We expect 7-10 years of experience in a financial or corporate environment. You must have:
• Strong Power BI skills: Advanced DAX, Data Modeling, Service deployment.
• Solid .NET (C#) development background for backend services/APIs.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks and SQL.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with Asset Management, Wealth, or Capital Markets concepts.
• Azure ecosystem knowledge (Data Factory, Synapse).
