Power BI Developer Analyst

Job Summary

AiVantage.Global is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer Analyst to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business intelligence, data integration, data modeling, and visual reporting. This role is crucial for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to support critical business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Create, design, and maintain robust Power BI reports, dynamic dashboards, and engaging interactive visualizations.
• Data Modeling: Develop sophisticated data models and establish reliable connections to diverse data sources, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• ETL and Data Preparation: Transform and prepare data from various sources, including SQL, Excel, APIs, and cloud databases, to ensure its suitability for comprehensive reporting.
• Data Analysis: Analyze complex business data to extract meaningful insights and provide data-driven support for strategic decision-making.
• Collaboration: Engage actively with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather detailed specifications, and ensure developed solutions align perfectly with business needs.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, data definitions, and calculations used within reports for easy reference and efficient future maintenance.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and effectively troubleshoot issues to guarantee a seamless and positive user experience.
• Training: Provide comprehensive end-user training and ongoing support to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of the Power BI platform.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analytics.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and ETL processes.
• Proven experience with SQL, including the ability to write complex and efficient queries.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and effective database management practices.
• Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView is considered a valuable asset.

Preferred Certifications
